"I was charged £30 before hand for fitting new bath taps and resealing bathroom. On coming to the job after much messing was told needed new sink vanity unit, then said couldn't fit either taps on bath or sink and has in the process broken the waste trap under sink and resealed a part on bath, which was beyond poorly done.
No refund for the £30 for the silicone didn't use. Stay away, absolutely shambles, now will cost me more to find someone decent to fix the mess my bathroom is now in"

Good evening April, we apologise for the delayed reply.

We’d like to clear up a few issues and misconceptions regarding your review:

- Sink/Basin Taps: We informed you that 1 of the isolation valves were jammed / “stuck”. After hearing this, we gave you our next steps, which you assisted us with by locating your main-water stop tap. As part of our next steps, we needed to remove a section of your sink traps. During this stage, we found that your traps/sink was corroded to the point where visible particles could be seen falling from the trap, as we removed it(without the need for tools, which is unusual). We also did inform you of this and you allowed us to skip the sink taps. We continued to try and remove your sink taps, but there were more problems which we faced. This is where we informed you to purchase a new vanity.

- Bath Taps: We informed you during our visit that the Bath taps were inaccessible. As the taps were situated in a position where it was surrounded by walls and tiles, and had no access panel, it would mean that we’d have to remove the whole bath tub from the wall and the shower screen, which we were not prepared to do, given the tight space to work in. We apologise for this circumstance, as it seems that the plumber who installed your bath tub taps did not anticipate a tap change or plan for maintenance.

- £30 Silicone(materials): As for the silicone, we informed you that we purchased the silicone bottles in a pack of 3, and since 1 bottle was used to temporarily reattach the remains of the sink trap until you purchase a new vanity/sink, the terms and conditions for a refund was invalid. We offered to allow you to keep your remaining 2 bottles of silicone since you did pay for them and we do not have space for them in our inventory/storage. We offered to deliver them to you and told you that we’d let you know when your package would be “depatched” / ready for shipment. Unfortunately, we gave you the notification(that your package has been prepared)after you wrote this review.

As we are still quite new to the industry, we still seek guidance from our mentors who helped us to become qualified plumbers. Our mentors had told us that we took the right course of action. We understand that another plumbing company with more experience may still be able to find a way to meet your needs, and we’d love to learn from what they do. We’d appreciate it if you could provide us with the name/contact details of the plumbers who succeed to meet your demands.

We apologise for this entire situation. We hope that you may trust us later on in the future, to be able to call us if you need us.

We offer plumbing services including tap repairs, replacements and maintenance as well as emergency leak fixes and pipe replacement services. We also provide radiator services and a limited amount of boiler services, including pressure top-ups.

Yes, we provide emergency services for all sorts of water leak fixes and damaged tap replacements. Please note that for emergency substitutory items, you will pay a deposit for the component(s) that is temporarily used to mediate your issue. Deposits are paid back to customers at the time of the substitutory item removal/collection, unless the item has any new defects or marks of wear and tear.

If you've just been been through an emergency, we'll explain this in more detail at the time.
No, our usual business times are between 10:00am - 10:00pm(bookings only). However, we do offer emergency call-outs with a "within 4 hours" response time. We schedule work for a later day(usually next day), however, we sometimes may take on a same-day-service if the call-out was made at an early or convenient time. We charge an "Emergency Call-Out" fee on top of the service quote to compensate for out-of-hours or no-preparation works for our team.

We currently only provide limited services, including: taps, pipes, basin/sink and radiator services, with plans to expand to showers, luxury wet-rooms and full boilers services soon. Our plumbers are well-equipped to deal with the services we offer, so you can rest assured that your facilities will be up-and-running smoothly as quick as possible!

If a customer refuses to pay after a tap/pipe installation has been made, or a service has been carried out, our plumbers reserve the right to disassemble and keep the components that they purchased or used. If a repairment service was provided to the customer and then the customer refuses to pay, our plumbers reserve the right to keep the components that were repaired during the service.

We've laid out the process of what happens when a customer refuses to pay on our general policy(Section 4).
As part of our security measures, we reserve our phone lines for previous customers. This is in line with our general policy(Section 11), so that we know who we will be talking to before the call. If you need to get in touch, just leave us a message and we'll get to you as soon as possible.

If you need to report an emergency, let us know that your request is an emergency and we'll give you a ring or text back as soon as we're available.

We know this isn't ideal for some situations, so we allow non-customers to become "3rd party" members. This means that you can still access the same benefits that we reserve for customers, without starting or paying for a service. If you'd like to become a 3rd-party member, reach out to us on our contact page with the subject/message "3rd-Party Member Request". We'll need to save your details(name and number/email) onto our database, so we'll make sure to handle your information as mentioned in our privacy policy.
